Here at Maiztro it’s all about variety. Our chef has carefully designed our menu so students can prepare everything back home, but she has also included several surprises (seasonal fruits and vegetables) which are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Surprises and menus vary slightly depending on the season, but this is what we usually offer:

We are what we eat

Class focuses on the essence of Mexican gastronomy: MAIZE. We teach our students how to prepare handmade tortillas, tlacoyos, agua de jamaica, salsa de molcajete, guacamole, stuffed peppers and chocolate covered marzipans served with local fruit and coffee. Class also includes a brief Tequila tasting (blanco, reposado, and añejo), as well as three additional shots of your favorite tequila. Note: If you have a peanut allergy, please let us know, as we can make traditional obleas instead of our usual peanut marzipans.
